Discussion Points:

  • What would you consider to be your 'Digital Thread'?
  • What are the Multi-Industry sector, your key themes, and your key companies?
  • What are some of the key macro factors that you believe influence performance in the companies you cover?
  • We've heard a lot about reshoring, especially since the pandemic. To what extent do you see this creating a renaissance for manufacturing in the US?
  • What are the Top 5 trends you are tracking now?
  •  Momenta's focus is Digital Industry. What are some of the most prominent digital impacts you've seen on your covered companies?
  • We are following a theme of 'deconstructing the automation stack,' an analogous pattern to the deconstruction of comparable IT spaces. To what extent do you see this having the same impact in OT?
  • Several industrials have approached their software stacks as distinct entities (i.e., Emerson and Aspen, and most recently, Schneider and AVEVA). Is there a best practice model for merging a hardware and software business in the industrial sector?
  • What industry-focused venture investors and startups are you watching?
  • In closing, where do you find your inspiration?
