Advantech, a global leader in Industrial IoT, has appointed Mike Borman as Senior Sales Director.
As a proven thought leader driving profitable growth in digital transformation across the industrial/process automation market, Borman will define and deliver effective large-scale strategic channel partnerships that drive value for Advantech’s IIoT North America’s channel partner ecosystem. He brings 25 years of broad expertise in IIoT, cloud SaaS, ML, AI, enterprise mobility, industrial computing, and connectivity across a diverse set of industries.
Prior to Advantech, Borman held the role of Senior Enterprise Sales Director at start-up Aitomatic, Inc. specializing in Artificial Intelligence solutions (SaaS, cloud-based) for chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, medical instrumentation, paint & coatings, defense, transportation, and CPG customers. He previously served as Technology Sales Manager at Pepperl + Fuchs, where he managed the Ecom business unit and the eastern US channel sales partner network of over 50 value-added resellers and independent software vendors in the hazardous area/industrial mobile computing space. Borman also served as Director of Industrial Sales at both Kinsley Power Systems and Eltete.
