Momenta Partners is pleased to announce that Jürgen Hase has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reliance Group's new IoT Business Unit in India after an extensive search of IoT leaders led by Momenta Partners.
Jürgen is a seasoned telecommunications industry veteran, who has successfully cultivated, implemented and executed new businesses with a specific focus on the IoT/M2M. He has been working in the global telecommunications industry for more than 25 years.
Prior to joining Reliance, Jürgen was Group Director, IoT/M2M at Ooredoo, in Qatar. His responsibilities included launching the company's IoT business in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, within multiple verticals including energy, healthcare, insurance, telematics and smart cities.
Jürgen has held a number of other senior positions within the industry, including Vice President M2M Competence Center at Deutsche Telekom, Managing Director M2M at MC Technologies, and Director of Sales Western Europe and Africa at Keymile GmbH.
He has also been a board member for many global M2M associations, such as Global M2M Alliance (GMA), International M2M Council (IMS) and M2M Alliance.
Jürgen graduated in 1989 with a Major in Communication Technology at the Technical University, Hanover in Germany.
