With over 25 years of experience, Thierry Godart is a veteran of the digital utility space. Thierry has developed an extensive knowledge on several emerging technologies including IoT, AI, edge, and IT/OT. He has worked with a number of prominent organizations including (but not limited to) Intel, Schneider Electric, Siemens, ABB, and GE.
In our conversation, Thierry and I discussed digital technology’s impact on the utilities industry with Thierry elaborating on how the sector has changed over his career. We delved into keys areas including the evolution of power consumption patterns and grids. Thierry provided insight into what he believes constitutes a strong utility organization digital transformation strategy and offered his thoughts on what the future holds for the space.
