The panel will discuss how Northern Gas Networks delivers gas to over 2.7 million homes through a vast network of underground pipes and is responsible for emergency repairs, connections, maintenance and strategic replacement of its 37,000 km pipe network. The second use case, delivered by Xylem, will discuss an integrated “water chain” solution for the Dutch municipalities and water board connecting over 400 pump stations and measuring locations to increase data quality with the resulting benefit of 15% reduction in emission of sewage water, 30% reduction of inflow of surface water into the sewage system, and cost reductions of 1.2M eur/year.
