In this episode, Ken Forster interviews  RJ Mahadev, Founder, and President of Aiota, a digital advisory company helping reshape the construction industry using cloud-based AI & IoT technologies.

RJ has 20+ years of expertise as an executive and tech investor focused on optimizing the technology use cases for smart cities, industrial organizations, and start-ups. He recently led the definition and implementation of the IoT and Digital Twin Platforms Management at NEOM, a $650 billion cognitive city of the future been built on the border of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt. Prior. Prior, he helped grow Cisco's IoT business to a number one market position by developing full tech solutions addressing smart city and industrial use cases. He also launched one of the world's first broadband wireless providers in Europe to support the 2004 Athens Olympics.

RJ holds an MBA from the University of Denver. Besides his active corporate life, he also volunteers as an executive board member of AUM, a non-profit dedicated to helping marginalized communities heal from therapeutic workshops and artistic performances.

RJ’s inspiration comes from his community, works, and aspirations of the people he surrounds himself with, such as his wife, daughter, and friends. He is a passionate reader and an active listener to different podcasts i.e. The Digital Thread, Shane Parrish, Adam Grant, Adam Robinson where brilliant people share how they think. RJ recently took up meditation, which helps him calm down his busy mind and be more in the present, the here, and now.
