We are pleased to announce that Siemens has acquired Senseye, one of Momenta's early portfolio companies. Senseye's cloud-based machine reliability and performance solution has helped manufacturers reduce operations and maintenance costs by automatically identifying machine failure and remaining useful life through machine learning algorithms fed with data from the Industrial IoT.
The transaction was finalized on June 1, 2022, with the acquisition complementing Siemens' Digital Enterprise solutions services. Senseye's innovative predictive technology and deep expertise, coupled with Siemens' global presence and extensive industry know-how, will allow customers worldwide to benefit from a seamless, integrated Industry 4.0 solution.
Asset intelligence solutions have been at the heart of Senseye's mission since its founding in 2014. Senseye scalable predictive maintenance solution uses cutting-edge machine learning and AI to reduce unplanned downtime by 50% and maintenance costs by 30%.
Senseye has successfully deployed solutions in the automotive, food and beverage, mining and metals, heavy industries, and energy sectors, and is trusted by multiple Fortune 500 industrial and manufacturing companies.
With Senseye's AI-based solution, Siemens' customers will be able to improve machine health, using machine learning and advanced prognostics algorithms to monitor tens of thousands of machines worldwide without needing expert technical support.
